Dave joins Moishe House with over 15 years of experience working in the Jewish communal sector. He began his career as a teacher in inner-city Philadelphia before switching gears and finding his niche in experiential Jewish education while serving as the Regional Director for the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization (BBYO) program in his hometown of South Florida. Since that time, he has served on the executive teams of the David Posnack Jewish Community Center and the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity, in addition to working for a website development firm, serving as a consultant for faith-based and secular nonprofit organizations throughout North America. Most recently, he spent three years as the Dean of Students at the American Hebrew Academy. Dave has a B.A. in political science, as well as a master’s degree in nonprofit management from the University of Central Florida. He is excited to be back living in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Laura, their kids, Ella and Noah, and their dog, Moses. An avid sports fan, when Dave isn’t working or spending time with family, you can find him planning his next vacation or cheering on his favorite South Florida sports teams.
