What is Moishe House Without Walls?

What does your dream Jewish community look like and how can we help you create it?

Moishe House Without Walls (MHWOW) empowers Jewish young adults ages 22-32 to build Jewish community by planning and hosting creative Jewish experiences for their friends and peers. Different from a Moishe House, there are no minimum program requirements, the programs are open to the general community or invite-only and MHWOW hosts can live anywhere around the world.

MHWOW is a comfortable, easily accessible way for you and your friends to gather, learn, and create Jewish community together. We let you be the driver of your own Jewish experience because along with being Jewish, we want to help you do Jewish.

How to Become a Host

MHWOW hosts have the training and desire to create quality Jewish programming. Any Jewish young adult who is between the ages of 22-32 and is an alum of one of these experiences is eligible to become an MHWOW host:

We want you to become an MHWOW host! If you’re not currently eligible, join us on a Moishe House Learning Retreat.

"MHWOW has helped me to make new friends at the law school and feel connected to my Judaism; other students have commented that my MHWOW programming has helped them find much-needed grounding and time for reflection." Anna Bobrow, MHWOW Host in Charlottesville, VA
