Washington D.C. – Capitol Hill

About Us

Moishe House Capitol Hill is the hub of young professional Jewish life in Northeast DC. Situated less than a ten-minute walk from the U.S. Capitol, MoHo CapHill is well known for our widely attended Shabbos dinners and other fun social functions such as Mask and Cheese, an evening where we made a gourmet macaroni recipe after beautifying our skin with face masks and Herb Your Enthusiasm, an in-house herb-planting tutorial. Among our other five to six events each month, we also host meaningful educational and cultural programming such as a tour of the nearby Frederick Douglass house, a trip to a nearby distillery, and a Q&A with a soferet (scribe). Come say hello!

We Are Looking for a New Resident!

Moishe House is seeking a young adult between the ages of 22-32 who is excited about living with others and creating a Jewish community for their peers. Residents of the house receive a generous rent subsidy, programming budget and staff support to host several programs each month. This commitment includes professional and leadership development, flexibility based on your personal interests and connects you to a renowned global community.
