About Us

Welcome to the Portland Moishe House! Come join us to become involved in the Jewish community, to meet others your age, and to develop your Jewish identity at any pace you feel comfortable with. Our mission is to create a vibrant community filled with social gatherings, a comfortable Jewish environment, and awesome programming. We host 7 events a month like Shabbat dinners, hikes and rock climbing, educational events, and happy hours. Located in Portland’s hip Northeast neighborhood, Moishe House PDX is walking distance to countless bars, music venues, food spots and much more! Visit and like our Facebook page, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

WE ARE creating our Jewish future!

Moishe House Portland wouldn’t exist without the support of people who believe in us and what we do. Once a year, we ask our community members to participate in giving back through the WE ARE Campaign. Beginning Oct 3rd - Nov 20th, every dollar that you donate will go directly into programming here at Moishe House Portland! Thank you for supporting our house and making a difference in the future of Jewish life in Portland.

We Are Looking for New Residents!

Moishe House is seeking a young adult between the ages of 22-32 who is excited about living with others and creating a Jewish community for their peers.
