Charlotte

About Us

Debra and Ari are excited to pioneer the first two-person Moishe House in Charlotte, NC. This house will be a space for young Jewish professionals to celebrate holidays, experience activities, share meals, and engage in Jewish living together. While Ari is an extrovert and Debra an introvert, their unique personalities create a balanced programming dynamic for Moishe House events. They will create a comfortable, welcoming space for all Jews to enjoy. Ari and Debra look forward to building a sukkah in their backyard, hosting a post-Passover pizza party, attending Charlotte Knights (AAA) baseball games, volunteering in the community, doing yoga, and having Shabbat/Havdallah dinners at their new home. They also want to encourage social gatherings around Charlotte!

WE ARE creating our Jewish future!

Moishe House Charlotte wouldn’t exist without the support of people who believe in us and what we do. Once a year, we ask our community members to participate in giving back through the WE ARE Campaign. Beginning Oct 3rd - Nov 20th, every dollar that you donate will go directly into programming here at Moishe House Charlotte! Thank you for supporting our house and making a difference in the future of Jewish life in Charlotte.
