About Us

This house was brought together under the tall trees of Tawonga Jewish Summer Camp and we
are so excited to create a welcoming, radically inclusive space for all in our Berkeley home.
Together, we represent the kitchen, garden and camper departments and see our roles
translating to the type of community we wish to create in the bay – nourishing, healing, and
programmatically vibrant. We are excited to offer & collaborate on a spectrum of spiritual,
social, and justice activities for the Jewish community and beyond. Please sign up for our newsletter here:!

WE ARE creating our Jewish future!

Moishe House Berkeley wouldn’t exist without the support of people who believe in us and what we do. Once a year, we ask our community members to participate in giving back through the WE ARE Campaign. Beginning Aug 13th - Sept 25th, every dollar that you donate will go directly into programming here at Moishe House Berkeley! Thank you for supporting our house and making a difference in the future of Jewish life in Berkeley.

We Are Looking for a New Resident!

Moishe House is seeking a young adult between the ages of 22-32 who is excited about living with others and creating a Jewish community for their peers. Residents of the house receive a generous rent subsidy, programming budget and staff support to host several programs each month. This commitment includes professional and leadership development, flexibility based on your personal interests and connects you to a renowned global community.
