Moishe House currently supports two thriving Moishe Houses in the Triangle and in Charlotte – homes where groups of Jewish young adults live together and open their homes once a week to host engaging, innovative programming for their peers. Additionally, the Carolinas are home to numerous Moishe House Without Walls hosts – individual Jewish young adults who host programming for their peers in their own homes. This is just the beginning of the potential across the region for empowering young adults to be the architects of the Jewish communities they envision.

The Campaign for the Carolinas supports plans to expand Moishe House’s presence across both states and will enable Jewish young adults in the Carolinas to continue to define their own Jewish communities and Jewish future.

Support Moishe House in making significant strides towards:

Redefining Jewish life for many hundreds of Jewish young adults

Enabling diverse Shabbat programming, Jewish holidays, and more

Training and empowering the next generation of passionate leaders

House Highlights

Since their inception, Moishe House Charlotte and Moishe House Triangle have collectively engaged more than 1,800 unique young adults (7,900 in total participation) – many of whom attend programming as frequently as once or twice per month – through nearly 500 programs, creating systemic change on the ground and shifting how Jewish young adults connect to and create community here in the Carolinas.

"Moishe House Without Walls was an awesome way for me to help build upon my Jewish identity while engaging friends, family, and community members at the same time. Since all of my family is up in the Greater New York Area, MHWOW gave me the tools and resources I requested to help make Charlotte a home for the holidays and more. I was able to host Passover Seders, Shabbat dinners, Jewish Christmas parties, Super Bowl get-togethers, social outings to Top Golf, and other awesome events! I found through MHWOW, I could help grow the Jewish community at my own pace and doing things that my friends and I wanted to do. What a great organization!" - Ari Rubin, Former MHWOW Host & Current Moishe House Charlotte Resident (pictured center)
