Loán Lake (pronounced Lo-An) joins Moishe House as our Senior Communications Manager. She is an accomplished communications professional, journalist, and published author who understands the importance of inclusive and diverse communications that create powerful narratives. Throughout her career, Loán has worked with Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations, the U.S. Congress, and tourist destinations to increase brand visibility, develop content and messaging, engage the community and corporate stakeholders, and develop marketing and communications strategies.
Originally from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Loán understands the importance of inclusive and diverse communications that create powerful narratives. She was drawn to Moishe House’s focus on community building and heritage preservation and believes that this model should be adopted by cultures all around the world. She has a Masters in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Temple University, a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maryland. Loán is a freelance writer for several publications and resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband.
