Moishe House is seeking a detail-oriented leader to join our team as the Associate Director of House & Pod Support. The Associate Director of House & Pod Support supervises the House Support team and provides support to the Resident Support Team and Senior Director of Houses & Pods by ensuring administrative and data operations support run smoothly. Who You Are and What You’ll Do:

  • You look forward to growing your leadership competency, leading the House & Pods administrative support team by:
    • Providing direct supervision, training, development, coaching, and performance management for administrative support staff, and maintaining strong employee relationships
    • Overseeing and managing administrative support functions including details of Department meeting agendas, annual summits, and off-site gatherings
    • Assessing current departmental and organizational practices and procedures, and making recommendations for improvements
    • Coordinating audits, surveys, and email communications with constituents, ensuring metrics are recorded accurately and on time, and preparing documents and presentations
    • Liaising with external vendors including tech consultants, independent contractors, and others as directed
    • Overseeing logistics for annual constituent conferences and team gatherings, including email communication, managing registration, processing reimbursements, and sourcing and managing vendors
    • Managing the team, providing complex calendaring for the Houses and Pods Department, facilitating arrangements for domestic and international travel, and processing reimbursements
  • You are a tech savvy project manager, work well under pressure, and manage time effectively
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or another related field; four years’ additional related full-time work experience may be substituted for the degree
  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ post-undergraduate relevant full-time professional experience with progressive responsibilities performing administrative support and/or data management functions, preferably in a lead or supervisory role
  • You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
  • You possess leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • You have knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
  • You demonstrate intermediate-level to advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), Google Suite, Salesforce (preferred), and other office management tools
  • You have the ability to multitask and monitor several projects at all times, and to work across various teams and time zones

The Fine Print:

The Associate Director of House & Pod Support is a full-time, exempt, year-round position, and requires weekday office hours to complete job requirements. This position works in one of our U.S. Hub Offices (Encinitas, Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., or Charlotte). This position is supervised by the Sr. Director, North American House & Pod Programs.

Beginning in early 2022, we’re excited to be returning to a hybrid work schedule at our Hub Offices, where employees can choose to work remotely 2 days per week and collaborate in-person with coworkers the rest of the week (Wednesday will be a day we are all in the office together!).

Employees will receive prior notice in advance of starting this new schedule.  Moishe House requires “full vaccination” for all staff to travel, work in offices, and participate in any Moishe House group gatherings. We use the CDC’s definition of “full vaccination” as the standard, with variations based on country as needed.

How Moishe House Pays You:
  • Moishe House’s starting salary ranges are based on education, experience, location, and skillset required for each role
  • This is a full-time exempt position:
    • Charlotte, NC: $58,000-$64,000/year
    • Chicago, IL or Encinitas, CA: $64,000-$70,000/year
    • NYC or DC: $71,000-$75,000/year
  • Annual merit-based salary increase
