Last week, I had the opportunity to spend a few hours at Moshe House Washington DC with our largest benefactor, Lynn Schusterman. It was a great meeting; Moishe House DC looked amazing and the living room was filled with stories of Jewish life, learning and appreciation. Lynn was able to sit on 8 year old couches draped with blankets from all their over night visitors (two had been there over the weekend from Australia) and hear from the group about how Moishe House has affected their lives. Moreover, Lynn was able to share her vision for a Jewish world filled with enthusiasm, vibrancy and learning firsthand. The food was great, the company was even better and we were able to share, for the first time, our deep appreciation for the work and commitment that one another have towards the Jewish community.
