Gill Benedek

Graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a double major in Marketing and Political Science. After graduation, Gill Benedek joined the Americorps program to help found the Neighborhoods Partnership Network (NPN) in New Orleans, Louisiana. As Community Programs Manager developed the various outreach, training and media programs of NPN including THE TRUMPET, a community-written newspaper sharing stories of New Orleans recovery. He is also a Board Member of the Nola Yurp Initiative Board. Gill is excited about the Moishe House New Orleans venture. New Orleans appreciates the ties between community and history, a relationship that Gill is interested in exploring from a Jewish perspective.

Jonathan Graboyes

Graduated from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts where he majored in City Planning. After completing a year long thesis study, exploring New Orleans' post Katrina planning and recovery, Jonathan relocated to New Orleans to join the Broadmoor Development Corporation. The organization's first full time employee, Jonathan is the Director of the Existing Properties Department, and is proud to be a part of a transformative grassroots organization which is renewing a valued historic New Orleans neighborhood. Jonathan is excited about the Moishe House and its role as a vibrant Jewish community spot in the Broadmoor community.
