Retread to Sallingstadt - (7/3/2009)
the mega weekend event took place in Sallingstadt, 1.5 h away from Vienna. We stayed in big hostel, with a nice view. We stayed two nights, from 3rd to 5th July. We had a full shabbat program, including prayer and dinner on friday evening and meal on saturay. After shabbat we made a circle around the bonfire and sang some nice songs. On our last day we had a BBQ. This was the best MH weekend till yet.

Some early coming people bonded over making salad for the dinner and laying the table. Rest of the people came and they entertained themselves by getting familiar with the new faces. When everyone arrived we started with the meal with a nice Shabbat mood. Eytan started telling stories and working the crowd. People seemed to be having a nice time and laughing.

Amazing day trip to Budapest. We met early in the morning in the MH, having breakfast. After breakfast the bus picked us up and the journey started. We visited the jewish synagog and a hungary jewish organization, called
"TIKVA(hope) HUNGARY". After that we had a boat trip along the Danube. And the highlight of the trip was the speech from Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis.
